Dr. Mostafa Faisal Parvez, the Secretary General of IIFSO, paid a visit to the family of Mr. Hasan Bitmez, a distinguished Member of Parliament in Turkey. Mr. Bitmez, who has a revered legacy as the former executive member of IIFSO (2006-2010) and former head of Shura (2010-2014), recently suffered a heart attack while in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
The Secretary General expressed our heartfelt wishes for Mr. Bitmez’s speedy recovery during the visit to the hospital where he was receiving treatment.

During the visit, the Secretary General also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Bitmez’s father and other notable figures, including the ex-central president of the Saadet Party and other fellow leaders. Our thoughts and best wishes are with him, and we hope for his speedy recovery.
