The Vice President of the Arab Region at the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO), Mr. Riyadh Al-Sunaid, participated in the “First Training Camp” held in Rabat, Morocco. The camp was organized in collaboration with the Islamic World Youth Academy and hosted by the Renewal Student Organization.
In his speech during the camp’s opening, Al-Sunaid expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Morocco for its hospitality and to the Renewal Student Organization for their support and hosting of the training camp. He emphasized the importance of enhancing youth leadership capabilities, noting that IIFSO continuously seeks partnerships with student and international organizations to provide training and developmental programs aimed at the world’s youth and specifically at the leaders of student and youth organizations. He added that IIFSO aims to create an environment of openness and collaboration among these institutions, to foster understanding, share experiences, build relationships, and network among active youth worldwide.
The training camp lasted for four days, with participation from youth leaders of various Arab and international nationalities. The camp addressed several critical issues, most notably the role of youth in the central issues of the Ummah, particularly the Palestinian cause. The camp also included training lectures on strategic planning for youth organizations, workshops on media marketing for youth projects and initiatives, and training sessions on management techniques, organizing major conferences and events, and crisis and emergency management in youth organizations.
