IIFSO Headquarters Receives a Delegation from AFMY Malaysia

The International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO) had the honor of receiving a distinguished delegation from the Asian Federation of Muslim Youth (AFMY), representing the Central Youth PAS Malaysia, at its headquarters in Istanbul. This visit marks a continuation of IIFSO’s commitment to strengthening ties with dynamic youth organizations across World.

Purpose and Discussions
The purpose of the meeting was to deepen the relations and explore avenues for collective action on urgent global youth issues. The dialogue highlighted the shared responsibility between youth-led organizations in building solidarity and institutional cooperation to benefit Muslim youth worldwide.
Key discussion points included:
•The Palestinian cause as a central concern of the Muslim Ummah, especially the importance of supporting “Somoud” (Steadfastness) initiatives amid ongoing challenges.
•The strategic role of Asian youth—particularly through AFMY and PAS—in amplifying advocacy, mobilizing public support, and organizing humanitarian campaigns.
•IIFSO’s mission to serve as a global platform for youth empowerment, activism, and defense of human rights in alignment with Islamic and humanitarian values.
•Future opportunities for joint programs, solidarity statements, and student-level engagement between IIFSO and AFMY / PAS.
Shared Vision and Outcomes:
Both parties expressed a strong desire to continue strategic cooperation on youth development, awareness campaigns, and issue-based activism. The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to initiate working-level coordination for upcoming activities, including IIFSO’s international youth summits and possible regional forums in Asia.
