On 20 September 2025, the headquarters of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO) in Istanbul received a delegation from Önder Yurdu, led by its Manager, Mr. Kerim Göktekin.

The meeting featured presentations from both sides. The IIFSO team — represented by Dr. Wahid Bashir, Hafiz Uzair Ali, and Eslam Sherbini — highlighted the federation’s vision, its wide network of nearly 100 member organizations across more than 60 countries, and its upcoming projects targeting youth and international students.

Mr. Göktekin outlined Önder Yurdu’s mission and programs, emphasizing initiatives designed to support international students in academic, cultural, and social integration. He also elaborated on the role of the institution in helping students settle, thrive, and succeed in their academic and community life.

Both parties expressed appreciation for each other’s efforts in empowering youth and fostering inclusive environments. The discussions concluded with a shared commitment to expand cooperation, launch joint initiatives, and strengthen mutual relations in the service of youth development.
