Women's Department Lectures at IIFSO


In a new step to contribute to enhancing legal awareness among young Men and Women in the Islamic world, the Women’s Section of the International Federation of Islamic Student Organizations (IIFSO) is organizing the first webinar in a series of lectures covering intellectual, educational, and legal topics.

This lecture is scheduled to address the topic of “Civil Advocacy Mechanisms for Women: A Rights-Based Approach,” moderated by Professor Bouthaina Karrouri, Professor of Constitutional Law and Political Science at Mohammed V University in Rabat and President of the Zahrae Forum for Moroccan Women.

The lecture is scheduled to be held remotely on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM GMT, via Zoom. It will be open to participants from across the Arab and Islamic world.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the International Federation of Islamic Student Organizations to enhance the role of Women in civil society and empower them with tools for intellectual and cultural advocacy, as well as mechanisms for advocacy in defense of human dignity in national and international communities.
