We are deeply saddened by the recent health condition involving Mr. Hasan Bitmez, distinguished Parliament Member of Turkey and who holds a esteemed legacy as the ex-executive member of IIFSO (2006-2010) and former head of Shura (2010-2014).
Mr. Bitmez experienced a sudden heart attack during a parliamentary speech, and our heartfelt prayers are with him.
Swift intervention by fellow doctors led to his immediate transfer to Bilkent City Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. As the IIFSO family, we extend our sincerest wishes for Mr. Bitmez’s rapid and complete recovery.
