The International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO) extends its heartfelt greetings and congratulations to our member organization, Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, on the landslide victory of the panel it supported, securing 23 out of 28 posts including the top three leadership positions with Md Abu Shadik Kayem elected as Vice President (VP), SM Farhad as General Secretary (GS), and Md Mohiuddin Khan as Assistant General Secretary (AGS) in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections, the most influential student union in Bangladesh and often regarded as the cradle of the nation’s politics.

This historic victory reflects the trust and confidence placed by the Dhaka University student community in principled, value-based leadership. As one of our valued member organizations, Islami Chhatrashibir has consistently championed the rights of students, promoted intellectual engagement, and contributed to the moral and civic development of youth in Bangladesh.

IIFSO looks forward to further collaboration with Islami Chhatrashibir to strengthen youth empowerment, defend students’ rights, and advance justice and democratic values across campuses.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the DUCSU Election Commission and all relevant authorities for conducting a free, fair, and credible election process that allowed students’ voices to be heard.

May this victory inspire Muslim student organizations worldwide to persevere with wisdom, courage, and unity in addressing the significant challenges of our time.
