Congratulations to the Turkish People and those representing their will…
The IIFSO and all its member organisations congratulate the Turkish peop؟le, their president HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan and all those representing their will for their success in failing the coup attempt.
With great tension, we have been following the developments in Turkey over the past two days and are happy to witness the Turkish people in failing the coup attempt.
We condemn with the strongest possible term any action to undermine democracy and the will of the people by terrorism and the use of any kind of force and we salute the Turkish people and its leadership for their courage, steadfastness and their readiness to sacrifice. They protected their country and all their achievements from a mafia, which wanted to take their country back into the dark ages of the last century. And by that they great Turkish people gave the best example for the Muslim Ummah and the whole world, that Muslims know very well the value of democracy and are ready to struggle for it and give the most precious they have to protect it.
We also pray to Allah for the martyrs who lost their life while struggling against those who wanted to take over Turkey by a coup to grant them the highest place in paradise and bless their families with patience.
We call upon the leadership of Turkey and its people to hold up to justice and the rule of law and punish all those, who have been involved in or supported the attempted coup.
May Allah protect Turkey, its people and leadership from any bad:
And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.
